I have heard about this guy, glad I've never met this person. However, I have an Aunt who the entire family has blacklisted due to her doing this to MANY men. Yvonne, she's hiding out in Missouri, but from Monterey, CA. She's a CON Artist she's in her 60's and still doing this! She even tried to adopt and sell back my little cousin to a family member. I can't make this up. We moved away from her to NV. Social Security is trying to find her I've told them to look in MO. This was a year ago and someone's not doing their job.

Ok, so I'm really late to the party, but I just watched the series tonight. First, it was a great documentary and I loved how all the ladies came together as a united front. I was hoping once he was finally on camera, I'd say "oh I get it - he's really smooth & sauve". Instead, I was screaming, "are you freaking kidding me, how in the hell did he con all these women"? I mean ladies come on - anyone of y'all shouldn't have spotted this con man a mile away as soon you see that twitching left eye and hear him clearing his throat when he's about to lie.

With that being said, this guy has some major childhood trauma and probably a host of other issues. But healed, secure, and stable people don't typical: fall in love OR move in with people OR get married; to every one they date, over & over & over, all the time......I'm just saying. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I made the mistake of getting involved with this man! Had moved in with him and started a life with him. I am now far away from him and safe.
He claims ALL of these statements are LIES and that all of the woman on here are just on a witch hunt. He told me that Candy Simms is a long time best friend and not to worry when he talks to her, not sure who Melody (he says shes a sister but not a real sister) is but he is in contact with her all the time too. I heard all about Dianna and her death. It never got to physical abuse (he would bow up at me and get right up on me but never hit me.) On a few occasions, I questioned him about why he is on his phone all the time and why he can not have any phone calls in front of me, he got PISSED and threw his phone. Yelled and screamed at me. He was probably checking the dating sites and talking to Candy and Melody.
The verbal and emotional abuse has caused me some damage and I will be getting myself into counseling promptly.

Lived in Overland Park KS; worked at various RV dealerships before being first fired (someone reported who he was) and then furloughed due to COVID. Is currently delivering food for work.
He “love bombed” the most recent victim and “swept her off her feet.” All his standard conman strategies. After a few months, he turned controlling and became more aggressive, unhinged. Likely due to pending release of documentary series or the inability to maintain the facade. He needs to get some professional help. He will be infamous after Showtime airs the documentary. As of Aug 2020, he is still in the KC area.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question... I have not read through all of this thread. I’m just catching up on this case. If he is on probation, Does he not have to check in with his probation officer? Has anybody contacted the probation officer? If he’s still in Kansas, and still on probation I’m sure that could help by informing the probation officer of what this scumbag is doing. He seems like a smooth talker and the probation officer might not have caught onto him and fully understand how dangerous he is.

However, if he is not checking in With his probation officer or leaves the state the probation officer could help in getting this man if they know how serious it is that he be caught.

Also, is he responsible for paying back any restitution while on probation? Does anybody know?

There is contact with his probation officer to let him know what rick is doing on a consistent basis. Yes, he checks in with his PO. Rick evidently asked his PO if he could go to Florida for a week back in May of this year. His PO let him go. Geez laweeze!!! Really?? Why are you going to let a former fugitive leave the state? Rick is still living in Kansas City conning women. The justice system in Kansas sucks and they don’t care. Maybe they will care if he kills someone. That is awful to say but it’s the truth.

I also posted on here, that I have been on a forum called Web Sleuth for years. I looked for him on this cite and searched this case on there, but I didn't see anything. It is very possible that I might have just been searching under the wrong (as he has had many aliases) name. This community of people live and breath for this stuff! They have caught countless criminals including serial killers. It can't hurt to post there also unless it's already been done. If nothing else I am sure they could help give more clues to help ya'll solve. Really great bunch of folks. I've always been very impressed by their stamina. They all have so many new thoughts and approaches to catch these assholes. I believe this case needs to be on that forum.

Just watched the Showtime Doc and firmly believe it should be bounced to Netflix to keep this story active. More people should be aware of this creepy crawler.
His ending interview was very telling of just how textbook his mental state truly is. Freud would have a field day with his obvious NPD issues among other things.
To those of you who have suffered from this, you have my deepest sympathy.
The laws NEED to change. Especially when this creepy crawler has a disconcerting amount of buddies that are getting away with this same con on a regular basis. It's appalling to say the least.

I think when you get to a certain point in your life and you just want to be loved by someone who pays attention to you and wants to take care of you, your judgement can sometimes be clouded.

Yep. That’s our judicial system for ya. A woman gets assaulted and he only gets 180 days in jail.

He does not belong in prison, but in a closed psychiatric ward ... for the next few years.
