Mr. Smith pled guilty in Johnson County Kansas District court on August 23rd to identity theft, which is considered a felony in Kansas, and will be sentenced October 27th. Mr. Smith was also to appear September 29th in Polk County, Iowa court for a probation revocation hearing. He stipulated (which means he agreed to) violating probation and sentencing is now scheduled for September 26th.
This is the same Richard Smith who used to be the so-called CEO of Prestige Corporate Living, LLC and Prestige Corporate Living Worldwide. He now calls himself the CEO of KC Short Term Stay. Please DO NOT get involved with this guy personally or professionally. This person is a sociopath and cannot be trusted. He will steal from you, lie and cheat. He will date, be engaged to and or married to multiple women at the same time. This guy will NEVER change his behavior as he is incapable of doing so. I haven't even had the opportunity or the stomach to read through everything on this site. I was very much controlled and living in fear so until recently I was unable to research and uncover what most of you already know about this DEMON. What I can tell you is rather than sift through it all I'm asking you to step forward and contact me directly if you are willing to get involved. I've hire lawyers and they believe there is enough evidence to put him behind bars. This won't get you any money back nor will it benefit me monetarily either but I will not allow him to hurt and commit fraud against anyone else!! He continues to get better each time in his cons and more dangerous - he's in a very vulnerable place right now and I intend to take advantage of that. I've already spoken with several people that are victims of either his fraud or abuse or in most cases both. I'm asking everyone to come together as needed so we have an overwhelming amount of evidence to not only put him in jail...but to KEEP him there. If all of the "wives" of this bigamist who do not have a valid divorce can send me their name, date of marriage and county/state they were married in my lawyers will be able to obtain what they need for the bigamy charges. Anyone that has additional proof of fraud send it my way, I have a lot of proof but the Feds will want everything they can get to make sure he rots in jail. There are currently 2 protection orders in place - one in Des Moines IA and one in Overland Park KS, any violation whatsoever is a GO TO JAIL card. Also, unlikely he will be able to bond out at any time...I have friends helping with that. So, here's your chance! You can choose to continue to be a victim OR a survivor it's your choice. I would like to know how many of his exes he is still married to. So far, he is confirmed married to Lisa, Jennifer and Jean. I spoke with his sister the other day and she says she is pretty sure there are more than 8 marriages and still legally married to more than just 3 women.

Potsy will be watched very closely by his probation officer and if he does not comply or even so much as farts on someone he will get prison time. There are a lot of folks (mostly vendors) whom Rick owes money. He has recently changed his cell number in an effort to avoid collection calls and responsibility.

A soon to be evicted tenant has provided me with copies of a seven page document they received last Friday notifying them that they are listed as a "Respondent" in a civil suit Village West has filed against PCL for non-payment of rent. Unfortunately, the tenants will be evicted if the rent is not caught up so it appears that each tenant will need to file suit against PCL to recoup the rent they have paid. I do know there are at least 11 tenants who have come forward to say they have received notice of eviction.

She probablh has not read the arrest report.
In order for Rick to fund his extravagant lifestyle, he has taken off with his "tenants" rent money. Most of his tenants pay around $2500 each month so when you have 30-40 apartments that adds up. Since Rick is not paying the rent to the properties of course the tenants are being served evictions notices.
Also, he has stopped paying his vendors. |
